Workplace Safety Training Programs

Our safety training topics are as varied as the companies we work with and many of the types of training listed below are required by regulatory agencies.  Safety First Group offers the following safety training programs:

Regulatory Training is required by regulatory agencies such as the Food Drug Administration, the Occupational Safety & Health Administration, the Department of Transportation, and the like, in order to prevent accident, injury, or death.   Examples include controlling hazardous energy & lockout/tagout, electrical safety for a qualified electrical person, and electrical safety for an unqualified electrical person. Many of the types of trainings below are also considered regulatory trainings.

Process Safety Training ensures people at worksites with dangerous chemicals present are aware of the risks, know what processes and procedures must be followed to prevent incidents, and know how to react in the event of an incident.  Examples of process safety trainings include chemical safety, pressure safety training, and workforce hazard recognition.

Equipment Training ensures the people who need to use various pieces of equipment know how to do so safely and what to do in the event of an accident.  Equipment training examples include crane safety, rigging safety, and scaffold safety.
